The Elgins Return to Civic Reception 1945

Everyone loves pictures. We do too, however it takes a long time to look through the collections and scan them. So, if you have some digital images you agree to share through our website, here are some of the topics of particular interest at the moment. Of course the images must relate in some way to those who live or lived for a time in Elgin County and were in some sort of military or military related service.

This may be a stretch into dust bunny territory; however, 2012 is the 175th Anniversary of the Rebellion of 1837 and the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 - pre photography I know but perhaps there are images of things or people in later life.
