Now that the 'new' website has been up for about a year, it is time to fill out the current pages and add new ones.

Covering the military service activities of the people who live/lived in Elgin County between 1812 and yesterday is a big task! The museum has thousands of files and photos, but it takes time to make them computer friendly. If you have stories to pass on about this service, or clippings and photos - even old letters and postcards that you may have digitized for your family tree or other purposes, I would be very grateful to be able to share them on our website. It is one way to ensure that the sacrifices made by these people are never forgotten. What these individuals did during their military service in Canada and the far flung corners of the world and the little things about their daily lives during their service adds so much to our understanding of the time.
